Kristy completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Wildlife Biology and a Masters in Communication. After working for several years in communications and photography, including living in Vietnam for a year, Kristy finally came to the realisation that she needed to get back in touch with her passion for animals and join the veterinary industry. She has been working as a veterinary nurse with BBEVS since 2011.
Kristy enjoys her own personal menagerie, living with ten pythons, a Boyd’s forest dragon, five green tree frogs, two shinglebacks, a green cheek conure, two dogs, one kitten, and a naughty eclectus named Errol. She also breeds geckos and many, many rats! Her partner, Jason, graciously puts up with everyone.
In her spare time, Kristy enjoys cleaning and feeding her animals and is an avid wildlife photographer and scuba diver.
